2021,  above: 70's to the 90's

Temp note: Some want realism or naturalism - as I often do - and are puzzled without the obvious object to ground them. What's it all about? Answer: whether figurative or not you are dealing with composition. Both may start out easy as a song appears in its primal stages. But in anything worthwhile the rest is either a good gestural leap or a long drawn out process that gets more-and-more critical, avoiding the stereotype, to a delicate height where it must end just to end. The subconscious is moving, memory and technique move on as the conscious controls, and after some time looking back you may ask, "how did I do that?" As with fine drawing some details are too intricate to have been deliberate. It just happens while you are entwined overlooking the process.
